Pacific Gemological Laboratory (PGL) is located in downtown Portland, Oregon, and is one of the Pacific Northwest's oldest (established in 1988) and leading jewelry appraisal service firms. Ms. Mona Miller is the Principle and Director of the appraisal practice, which offers a wide range of expertise in gems, jewelry, and watches; it is the only Jewelry Appraisal Lab in Oregon with an Accredited Gemologist Association (AGA) Certified Gemological Laboratory.

Ms. Miller is a highly respected mentor and teacher in the gem and jewelry profession with extensive experience in period and antique jewelry. Her qualifications include:

• Fellow of the American Society of Appraisers, FASA

• Certified USPAP Instructor for the Appraisal Foundation
• Certified Instructor for Oregon and Washington Insurance Professionals
