This Independent Jewellery Appraisal business is headed by Gemmologist and Jewellery Appraiser, Heather Davis, GG (GIA), FCGmA, and serves the greater Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, Lower Mainland and Interior regions of British Columbia. Heather regularly assists clients from Penticton, Vernon, Oliver, Osoyoos, Merritt, Revelstoke and Princeton.

Detailed appraisals for all purposes are carried out on all fine jewellery and diamonds of all periods, as well as luxury watches, loose diamonds and colored gemstones. All details and photographs are well-presented in a report along with the value, pertinent to the purpose of the appraisal. Your report and the processes used to create it comply with all major authorities who govern Jewellery Appraisers in Canada as well as being compliant with the guidelines laid down by USPAP.

Same-Day Service at the Laboratory - The appraisal and valuation processes are principally carried out at Stellar Gem Services' well-equipped Gem Lab in Kelowna and you are very welcome to watch Heather while she works on your jewellery, diamonds and watches. If you prefer, you may drop-off your jewellery and collect later once your appraisal report has been prepared for you. Either way, you will be pleased to know that you will be without your jewellery for the shortest possible time as your items are not sent to a third party. Stellar Gem Services also operate a collection and delivery services for those clients who find it hard to take time out from their busy day.

Mobile Gem Lab - Stellar Gem Services also have a transportable gemmological laboratory so can come to you, at your home, office or some other secure location in which you feel comfortable.

Consulting Services - Jewellery, watch & gem related consulting services are available for whenever you need a little assistance. Heather believes that you will benefit from knowing what you are buying before you purchase it. Her pre-purchase consultations give you an unbiased and objective opinion on the item. Similarly, a post-purchase consultation will give you peace of mind with an independent assessment of the watch or item of jewellery. Typically both of these consultations will either challenge or verify claims of quality and value set out by the Vendor allowing you to make better informed buying decisions.
