Stephanie Daugherty is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and the Principal Appraiser at Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC. Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC is different from most appraisal firms because we are certified with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), the leading professional personal property appraisal association representing appraisers in the US and Canada. The International Society of Appraisers' core course in appraisal studies and methodology, in addition to its other academic coursework and continuing education, is regarded as the most comprehensive in the industry. ISA trained asset appraisers are vigorously tested and are regarded as leaders in appraisal methodology and ethics. Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC, through its involvement with ISA, seeks to enhance public trust by producing qualified appraisals and engaging with ethical appraisers who are recognized authorities in personal property.

Stephanie is the only ISA appraiser in the US and Canada to have her Graduate Gemologist diploma in addition to designated specialties in fine art and antiques, furnishings and decorative art (AF+DA).

As Founder of Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC, Stephanie combines her previous experiences in the museum field with industry knowledge to provide a client-oriented approach to developing objective, unbiased, and substantiated personal property appraisal reports. Our appraisal reports are written in full compliance with the International Society of Appraisers' report and writing standards as well as the Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). With thousands of hours of USPAP compliant appraisal work, Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC has served private clients, estates, insurance companies, museums, non-profits, and other organizations in unlocking the value of their property.

Stephanie Daugherty is actively involved in the appraising profession, serving as a member of the ISA Gems & Jewelry Committee and as an ISA Educator.

Appointments are conducted on-site at the client's residence, bank, or office with a portable gemological laboratory. Arrangements can be made to visit the appraiser's gemological laboratory in New Jersey by appointment only.

In addition to appraising gems and jewelry, Specialty Asset Appraisals LLC specializes in appraising entire household contents. Stephanie Daugherty is qualified to appraise antiques; decorative art; fine art; furnishings; luxury items; silver; among other types of property.
