Ouellet and Lynch Jewelry Appraisal Services have been providing jewelry valuation and gemological-related services on a while-you-wait basis from their central Phoenix location for over 30 years. This Certified Gemological Laboratory is one of only a few in the United States to meet the rigorous standards of the Accredited Gemologist Association for both diamonds and colored gemstones. Ouellet and Lynch is headed by Craig Lynch and is an independent appraisal practice, so does not buy or sell any jewelry-related items. This gives confidence to consumers knowing that their appraisal consultation will result in totally impartial value conclusions.

Appraisals and valuations for all purposes are created for jewelry of all periods, including: insurance replacement, disposal, divorce settlement, trust fund and asset management, disposal and acquisition consulting, inheritance tax, equitable distribution etc.

Appraisals in the Lab

The assessment of your jewels is carried out in front of you at Craig's gem lab and office. All gold and platinum testing, gemstone identification and diamond grading is performed while you watch, so your precious items are never out of your sight. Your documentation is normally created at the same time and available for you to take away at the end of your consultation.

Appraisals at your Home

Craig also has a portable gem laboratory so can come to you, either at your home or place of work. If you prefer, a meeting can be scheduled at some other secure location that you are comfortable with... a bank vault, lawyer's office etc. This "jewelry appraisal at home" service can be provided throughout the Valley of the Sun / Metro Phoenix area, and beyond by arrangement. You will receive the same high quality service and the same standard valuation report but have the added convenience of having Craig do the travelling. There are certain criteria that need to be met before the home-visit service can be used.

He has played an active part in the jewelry industry and been an enthusiastic office-bearer and board member of the Association of Accredited Gemologists and the Arizona Jewelers Association. Craig is a Graduate Gemologist, Senior Accredited Gemologist and the consultant Gemologist to the "Somewhere in the Rainbow" collection of exceptional jewels and gems. Craig is regularly seen on TV as the jewelry expert on "Arizona Collectables" advising members of the public on how much their treasures are worth
