Extremely happy with the service and quality of the valuations Louise undertook on our behalf. In addition, we asked Louise to repair a diamond and emerald ring and re-string a pearl necklace and the quality of the work was first class.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone to use Louise rather than going to a high street jeweller.
Prompt & Professional
Friendly service with delivery within timescales promised. Professional service throughout. Perhaps consider running through the report with the clients in a bit more detail rather than handing over to review later. Would recommend and use again.
Having recently bought an engagement ring for my Fiancée I was keen to get it insured as soon as possible. A friend had used Louise′s service for a similar reason and recommended her to me.
I rang and left a message (Louise was away) and no sooner had she returned I received a call personally from her and an appointment was made to see her at her office.
Louise is friendly and obviously extremely knowledgable. I was given the cost and the timeframe of which the report would be finished. To my delight the report was completed much sooner than anticipated. It had in depth details of the stone and the band and included photographs.
My insurance company were more than happy as was I. I cannot recommend Louise′s services enough.

I took my watch for valuation for insurance purposes and from the first phone call to arrange the appointment to collecting my watch after valuation everything was first class. The watch was held for 4 hours whilst the valuation was completed and the resulting report is everything and more I could have asked for. It has given a comprehensive assessment of the valuation together with how the figure was arrived at and what can be done should the watch be stolen or lost. I have no hesitation in recommending Louise to anybody looking for a first class valuation service.
Would Highly Recommend
I had my engagement ring appraised and valued, in order to add it to my home insurance. Louise Butterworth was extremely accommodating, and the appointment system ensured that we had individual attention when we arrived at her store in the morning. The appraisal report was extremely detailed and very informative. I received a copy for my insurance company and a more detailed copy, accompanied with photographs of my ring, for myself. The appraisal was completed by late afternoon, so I didn't have to spend too long without my ring.
In order to complete the appraisal, Louise cleaned my engagement ring and it hasn't looked as sparkly since it was purchased 30 years ago! The cleaning was included in the appraisal fee of £65.00. All in all, Louise provided an excellent, value for money personal service, which I would not hesitate to recommend.
Company Response:Thank you for your kind review Annie. Just so anyone reading this is not confused. My office and laboratory now occupies the building that my former longstanding jewellery retail business occupied. The Jewellers closed in December 2015 so that I could concentrate on jewellery appraisal and valuation.
Very quick & thorough report & valuation. Would recommend this establishment. Many Thanks

My engagement ring needed to be valued for insurance renewal purposes. The thought of leaving my lovely ring and documentation with a stranger was daunting and I was very nervous. However I spoke to Louise on the phone and called in to her office.
I was immediately put at ease about leaving my jewellery as the knowledge, heritage, along with a warm welcome shone through. Louise provided an extremely thorough and very quick valuation service and followed up to ensure I was happy with the service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Louise to my friends & family.

We had an engagement ring valued for insurance purposes. The valuation was extremely well presented along with photographs of the item valued, well presented in booklet form along with a separate summary to forward to our insurers for their records.
All in all, a very professional service which I would not hesitate to use in the future and recommend to family and friends.
I found a ring in a pawnbrokers and needed a valuation. I first contacted Louise by telephone and after a chat felt very confident in sending my ring to be valued.
The process was very quick and as it was a very unusual stone, I was so pleased with the information. I now know where my stone was mined and what it was, I had purchased a green tourmaline and was amazed at its value. I would recommend Louise to anyone who would need an item valuing.
