KC Appraisals is an independent jewellery appraisal lab in Southern Ontario serving the Guelph, Hamilton and Kitchener areas. They specialize in helping people through the tough time of settling an estate, which is going through probate. Ontario law states that all values claimed for probate must be backed up by documentation. They will provide you with a bound document containing not only a full detailed description of each item but a compiled listing of total value of the jewellery. Appraisals for insurance and divorce are also provided by KC Appraisals.

The principal, Karen Howard is a member of the Canadian Gemmological Association, The Canadian Jewellers Association, and is a Master Jewellery Valuer. She enjoys chatting with people and learning the stories behind the jewellery. Her office offers a very relaxed and comfortable setting for her clients.

KC Appraisals also offers education for jewellery stores and private clients. Talking about gems and jewellery is a great way of sharing the love that Karen has for her industry and profession.
